Anne Gerwig, President

Anne Gerwig and her husband, Alan, have lived in Wellington for 24 years with their three children – Jessica, Dane and Luke. Ms. Gerwig is the Director of Client Communications for Alan Gerwig and Associates, Inc. located in Wellington. The company has provided civil and structural consulting engineering services throughout the state since 1998. Ms. Gerwig has worked in the land surveying, planning and engineering field as a draftsman/CADD technician in Palm Beach County since 1982.
Ms. Gerwig is active in the Wellington and Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and has served as a volunteer in her children’s schools. While raising her children in Wellington, Ms. Gerwig also volunteered on many service projects including the rebuilding of community playgrounds and the Safe Neighborhoods Initiative. Ms. Gerwig values the arts and was the impetus for the annual Touch of Broadway show, a high school musical preview, at the amphitheater. Ms. Gerwig is committed to developing Wellington’s local youth and was instrumental in naming of the Keely Spinelli Education Grant – a grant named after a beloved educator and Elementary School principal who spent her short life impacting the future.
In 2013, Ms. Gerwig was appointed to the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council by the Palm Beach County League of Cities after serving as an alternate for one year. She also serves as the voting delegate at the Palm Beach County League of Cities and on the Education Committee. Ms. Gerwig was recently appointed to serve on Wellington Landings Middle School’s SAC (School Advisory Committee) and on the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County. After being nominated by the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County League of Cities, she was recently appointed by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners to serve on the Citizen Advisory Committee on Health and Human Services.
